Switch is constructing a new data center facility in Rock Round, Texas, located outside of Austin. The site spans 32.48 acres and is situated north of Louis Henna Boulevard and east of Greenlawn Boulevard in the Rock Round area.

Covering a total floor space of more than 42,000 square feet spread over 4 floors, the PCCW data center was opened in 2013.

In 2020, DataBank acquired the site from zColo.

Vantage Data Centers, a provider of hyperscale data center campuses, has started of construction on a second data center on its Frankfurt II (FRA22) campus in Frankfurt, Germany.

The site use to be called 4degrees Montréal before being acquired by Vantage in December 2019. The Montréal centre is now connected to the Québec City centre via Videotron’s fibre optic network.

Originally built by Stream Data Centers, Zayo acquired the facility in 2017.

The facility is located in Northern Dallas in the Technology Business Corridor

DataBank’s Plano DFW3 is the newest Uptime Certified TIER III Data Center, and the third in the Dallas area.

The site was originally a Peer 1 site before the Cogeco acquisition.

The facility was acquired from Etix Everywhere in 2020. Vantage announced that it had acquired full ownership of the first data center, buying out its joint venture partners Energieversorgung Offenbach (EVO) and DataCenter-Group (DCG).

The site at 6900 South Peoria Street in Centennial, CO is air-containment optimized and has a reflective white roof that prevents solar heat from entering the building. Inside, energy efficient “green” cooling solutions are engineered to achieve an industry-leading PUE of 1.3.

Vantage has completed the first data center on its Frankfurt II campus in 2022. The four-story facility offers 350,000 sq ft (33,000 sqm) of space.

Vantage's second building FRA12 is located at its Offenbach data center campus in Frankfurt, Germany.

Vantage’s Warsaw campus in Poland sited on more than 12 acres (5 hectares) just a half hour drive from Warsaw-Chopin International Airport.

With proximity to ample hydroelectricity, the site has 750kW of reliable power onsite, redundant N+1 power availability 208VAC or 120VAC in 15A, 20A, 30A & 60A multiples in both single or 3-phase configurations.

The site was previously known at Openface Montreal before being acquired by Beanfield in February 2020.

In 2023, Databank expanded the site from 15,000sqft and 1.2 MWs to a total of 60,000 sqft and 7.5 MWs.

Vantage data center plans to build the Fourth facility within its Berlin 1 campus.

Vantage has opened a second data center on its 25-acre Berlin I campus. The two-story facility spans across 130,000 sq ft (12,000 sqm) of space.

AtlasEdge's Hamburg facility is located at Obenhauptstraße 1C next to Hamburg airport. HAM001 offers 8MW across 2,600 sqm (27,985 sq ft) of technical space.

The Vantage's long-term plan calls for four data center buildings totaling 560,000 square feet and 55 megawatts of critical load.

DataBank's 400 South Akard is a seven-story property built in 1921 to house the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In 2000 the building was renovated as a datacenter, taking advantage of security features from its use as a banking facility.

Vantage Data Centers is building a 1.7 million Sqft data center complex in suburban Atlanta.

Vantage started to build a new data center at 14720 Omicron Drive, San Antonio, TX. The data center, which will span 242,667 sq ft (22,545 sqm) of floorspace, will be a two-story building with a total capacity of 32MW.

The first phase of the campus was completed in Q1 of 2019. The phase will consist of a 24MW capacity building, with 6MW of critical IT load fully operational on day one.

The site houses DataBank’s primary Network Operations Center (NOC) and operational support teams. With more than 12,000 sqft of raised-floor data center space, the facility houses three independent data halls and direct connectivity to multiple top-tier carriers.

AtlasEdge has expanded into Austria through the acquisition of an existing data center located on the Siemens Campus in Vienna-Floridsdorf. AtlasEdge Vienna sits on 11,000 sqm plot with 10MW future capacity.

DataBank’s Granite Point West Data Center is strategically located in Bluffdale, UT, minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. With a carrier-neutral design, the 95,000 sqft building has over 55,000 sqft of raised-floor space for customer equipment and offers network connectivity to multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers. First announced in 2021, Switch's 'The Rock' data center in Texas will span 1.5 million square feet (140,000 sqm), and was first approved by the local council in July 2021. The campus is on land adjacent to a number of Dell-owned facilities in Round Rock, Texas.

DataBank has started the construction of its ATL4 data center at 200 Selig Dr SW, Atlanta.

Vantage Data Centers is constructing the third facility within its Berlin 1 campus.

Located on 134 acres, the campus will feature seven multi-story facilities with 288MW of capacity across more than 2 million square feet.

Scala Data Centers has launched operations at its first data center in Porto Alegre, Brazil over a 43,809 sqft built area. Known as SPOAPA01, the data center has an IT capacity of 4.8MW.

The DataBank site is part of the CODA development, a 645,000 sqft mixed-use office complex, currently under construction in Georgia Tech’s Technology Square.

The site was acquired by Zayo in January 2016 from Stream Datacenters.

Databank acquired the facility in 2019 from PNC Bank in a sale-leaseback transaction. BNC Bank occupies the entire second floor.

DataBank’s South Lake facility is situated in the technology-rich, South Kansas City suburb of Lenexa, providing direct, on-site connectivity to several Tier 1 carriers.

Powered by two separate substations with on-site, diesel-powered generators for backup, the data center includes 6,000+ sqft of space for customer equipment and advanced cooling technology to ensure optimal operating temperatures.

Berlin I data center campus, located in Brandenburg Park, sits on 25 acres (10 hectares) off Bundesstrasse 101.

The site was formerly known owned by Lightbound before being acquired in October 2019.

Switch acquired Texas-based Data Foundry, another enterprise colocation provider for $420m in an all-cash transaction from the Yokubaitis Family.

Vantage acquired the land in August 2023 and has not yet announced construction
