Switch Station 1 and Switch Station 2 power plants commissioned in December 2017 at the Apex Industrial Park are designed to generate 179 megawatts, enough electricity to meet the needs of 46,000 homes. The solar plants serve Switch facilities in Reno and Las Vegas.
