Meta owns 212 hectares of land at Andrup near Esbjerg for a planned hyperscale data center campus known as Project Ember, but the project has been on hold since 2022 as the company redesigns its data center architecture for AI workloads and awaits grid capacity from Energinet.

The Meta data center in Kuna, Idaho, spans 960,000 square feet, represents an $800 million capital investment, and is part of Meta's global network of 19 data centers, which includes 15 locations within the United States.
