In May 2020, Facebook acquired $15 Million USD parcel of land for a 970,000 square foot data center campus in Gallatin, TN.

  • The Gallatin Data Center is Facebook's 17th data center development globally and 13th in the United States.
  • Kicking off in August 2020, Meta's first set of Gallatin data centers are the legs of a building shaped like a capital H. Another second set of connected data centers, arranged like a backward four, are under construction on a road named Meta Loop.
  • Meta is building another data center, shaped like a stretched plus sign, on its 800-acre site.
