In 2015, Facebook announced it was building a third data center in Prineville at a cost of $200 million. The data center is 487,700.

In 2017 Facebook announced datacenters 4 and 5 that would add more than 900,000 sqft of data center space and 70,000 sqft of administrative office space.

In 2018, Facebook announced that it will build two new buildings on the campus which will bring the total square feet to 3.2 million across seven buildings.
