Dubai-based DAMAC Digital is making a landmark entry into the Philippine tech landscape with plans to establish the country's largest data center in Laguna.

Located in the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) in Bekasi, the DAMAC Digital Cikarang AI Data Center represents a landmark $2.3 billion investment in Indonesia’s digital future.

UAE data center firm Edgnex is building a data center in Jakarta, Indonesia. The facility is to be located along MT Haryono.

This facility will be a part of Edgnex Riyadh data center campus in Saudi Arabia.

The facility, located in the Attica region, is part of a joint venture named Data In Scale (DIS), formed between Edgnex’s parent company, DAMAC, and the PPC Group, an electricity utility.

The land was acquired by DAMAC Digital Solution Ohio in December 2025, and DAMAC is now the expected developer moving the project forward.

Originally developed and marketed by Active Infrastructure in partnership with commercial real estate firm JLL, the Midwest Digital Gateway is a two-campus hyperscale development in Canton, Ohio.

The first phase of the 19,000 sqm (204,515 sq ft), multi-story, Tier III-quality campus is scheduled to be operational by 2026.

This planned facility is a part of Edgnex's Bangkok campus in Thailand.

In 2025, Edgnex expanded its presence in Finland by acquiring data center developer Hyperco.

Edgnex, a UAE-based data center company, is building a new facility in Spain. The site, located in the Vicalvaro region, was purchased from ActivumSG, a European real estate private equity manager.

EDGNEX, the digital infrastructure arm of DAMAC Group, operates a data center campus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first building on this campus spans 17,720 sqm.

The Dammam facility spans 12,320 square meters over three floors and has earned Uptime Tier III design certification.

The company will invest RM250 million ($52.4 million) to develop the facility on a 1.21-hectare plot of land.

Crescendo Corporation, a Malaysian property developer, has sold 74,360 sqm (800,400 sq ft) of land in the Nusa Cemerlang Industrial Park to Data Cloud Innovation Sdn Bhd for RM120 million ($27.1m).

Hyperco Oy plans to build a data center complex on a 22.3-hectare site in Kittfall, Virkkala, Lohja, situated about 9 kilometers southwest of Lohja's city center.

Finnish data center development and operation specialist Hyperco Oy is currently building a major data center in Koria, Kouvola, in partnership with the main contractor YIT.

Hyperco, a Nordic data center firm, is eyeing a significant expansion with plans to construct a new campus in Espoo, Finland, a municipality adjacent to Helsinki.

Hyperco has acquired a 130-hectare plot in Pyhäjoki’s Keskikylä area for the development of a large-scale data center.

Hyperco plans to build a second data center beside its existing Koria development in Kouvola. The two-story facility received a building permit in June 2026 and will include supporting substations, water storage, backup generation, and service buildings.
