In June 2026, Metsähallitus leased Hyperco an additional 6.6-hectare plot next to the site.
In 2026, blasting and earthworks began on the site.
In December 2025, Loviisa granted the building permit, with the right to begin work before the permit became final.
In January 2025, Loviisa reserved the plot for Hyperco.
