Vodafone and UAE-based data center firm Edgnex are collaborating to construct a new facility in Turkey. The companies have established a joint venture to develop a $100 million data center in Izmir, a city situated on the western coast of Turkey along the Aegean Sea. Designed to Tier III standards, the carrier-neutral facility will initially provide 13,500 square meters (145,310 square feet) of space.

The company was established in 2021 and has announced expansions including a 20 MW campus in Bangkok, a 40 MW site in Madrid, and a joint venture in Greece with a 12.5 MW first phase at Spata.
