Flexential's Synergy Park site in Dallas is former ViaWest. Flexential was created after Peak10 acquired ViaWest for $1.67 billion in August 2017. The rebranding from ViaWest to Flexential was announced in January 2018.

In January 2016 GI Partners, a San Francisco-based investment firm with a focus on data centers, acquired the building that hosts this ViaWest data center.
