Telehouse Canada operates three data centres in downtown Toronto, connected by a dark fibre network, enabling interconnections to a diverse network of 200+ carriers, ISPs and ASPs and fast, efficient access to key North American markets.

The 905 King Street West facility hosts the dark fibre network and is connected to the 151 and 250 Front Street West locations via high-capacity rings. This provides customers with direct access to carriers in the Meet Me Rooms at 151 and 250 Front Street West, via a simple cross-connect set up.

Telehouse entered the Canadian market with the acquisition of three Toronto data centers from Allied Properties REIT. The purchase was announced by Telehouse's parent company, KDDI.

  • The Allied data center portfolio comprises freehold interests in 151 Front Street West and 905 King Street West, and a leasehold interest in 250 Front Street West.
  • KDDI paid CA$1.35 billion (US$1.02bn) for the portfolio, and will be establishing a new local entity, KDDI Canada, Inc.
  • In 2011, Allied converted 905 King St. West into a data center.
