NTT Global Data Centers Japan (NTT GDCJ) has broken ground on a new data center campus in Shiroi City, Chiba Prefecture, outside Tokyo, Japan.The first data center on the campus, the Shiroi Data Center (SHR1) is expected to be completed by April 2027. The building will support AI, cloud computing, and the next generation of digital services.
