MTL-2 is located within 10 kilometers of Montreal’s city center. The facility includes more than 150,000 square feet of colocation space and is served by multiple power substations operated by Hydro Quebec, with a total planned capacity of 30MW.

The building was a former printing facility for the Montreal Gazette. The Gazette shut down the facility in 2014 and sold it to eStruxture in December of 2017. The company invested $150 million to convert the facility into a modern data center.
