Telefónica's data center opened late in 2012. and Built out in five phases, with a total of 23 server IT rooms. The first phase entails the design and construction of a 24,700 square meter building containing seven server rooms each measuring 680 square meters. The project was built to meet the Uptime Institute's Tier IV standard.
The server rooms are cooled using Free Cooling technology, which uses external ambient air when the temperature is lower than inside the room; this greatly reduces power consumption and will enable the center to attain a PUE of 1.3
