DC Blox Secures $240 Million in Holdco Financing
January 16, 2026
DC BLOX
DC Blox is moving forward with a revised plan for its data center on the former Azalea Flea Market site. The project was scaled back from an initial $500 million proposal to a single, 65,000-square-foot facility. This reduction was specifically intended to address community concerns regarding noise and aesthetic impact.
To streamline the process, the Atlanta-based developer is proceeding under the property's existing zoning. The facility is designed to serve a "hyperscale client" and will integrate into DC Blox's regional network. The project is expected to be operational in 2026.
