U.S. data center firm Centra is expanding its footprint with a new facility in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, area. The company has broken ground on MSP1, a new carrier-neutral data center located in Eagan, Dakota County.

Centra, based in the Washington, D.C. area, acquired a 10-acre property for $17 million, which includes a pre-existing data center. The new facility is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026.
