The Cool Springs data center was known as "Nashville 2" and "Nashville 3" when it was formerly operated by Peak 10. Flexential was created after Peak10 acquired ViaWest for $1.67 billion in August 2017. The rebranding from Peak10 to Flexential was announced in January 2018.
