Colossus: Spring Hill, Kansas

Lot Size: 316 acres

In a sudden reversal, data center consultancy firm Colossus Data Center Advisors has abruptly withdrawn its proposal to build a massive 316-acre data center campus in Spring Hill, Kansas.

The project, which was slated for a rezoning request ahead of a planning commission meeting in March 2026, faced fierce opposition from local residents and the threat of a potential lawsuit. Following a confirmation from the City of Spring Hill that the zoning request has been officially pulled, the identity of the prospective tech giant or end-user intended for the site remains entirely unknown.
