Proposed by Blue Owl-backed Beale Infrastructure, Project Brewer was a massive hyperscale data center campus slated for an approximately 300-acre site in Gardner, Kansas.
The long-term, multi-phase master plan outlined a development of up to 16 data center buildings powered by Evergy under a specialized large-load tariff, utilizing a zero-wastewater, closed-loop air-cooling design to mitigate environmental footprint. However, following a decisive notice from the City of Gardner stating that no economic development incentives would be granted for the campus, Beale Infrastructure officially withdrew its zoning and planning applications in May 2026, completely halting the project.
