Equinix acquired the Culpeper campus (CU1, CU2, CU3, CU4) as well as 25 other datacenters from Verizon in May 2017. It was formerly named Verizon NAP of the Capital Region. Terremark first built the site before being acquired by Verizon.
The 72,000 square-foot main office building includes a 150-seat auditorium built to federal government physical security standards and approximately 50,000 square feet of Class A office space that can be built to meet specific customer demands.
