CyrusOne has commenced construction of its first Italian data center, MIL1, located at Via Reggio Emilia in Segrate, east of Milan. Built on a redeveloped former nuclear research site, the three-storey facility will deliver 27MW of IT capacity across approximately 7,000 sqm of technical space, configured into three 9MW data halls. The project is being developed in phases, with the initial 9MW expected to become operational by the third quarter of 2027, followed by incremental expansion.
