Go to PodcastIn 2025, Shanghai DC-Science brought online first data centre building in Johor through its BrightRaY platform. Located within the Sedenak Tech Park (SteP), the new data center, dubbed MY-01, marks the initial phase of a larger campus development. The three-story facility uses BrightRay’s proprietary Full Prefab Modular Building Data Center Solution and was delivered in eight months.
BrightRay plans to deploy two additional data centers at the SteP campus, ultimately aiming for a sprawling 70,000 square meters (753,473 sq ft) with a capacity for 10,000 racks.
