Diode Ventures is looking to develop a massive data center campus in Kansas. The company filed a preliminary plan for a data center campus called Creek Technology Park. The campus will sit on an undeveloped 359 acres of land in the northeast of US Highway 169 and Interstate 435 in Missouri. According to the plan, Diode Ventures aims to develop nine data center buildings totaling 182,000 square meters (1.96 million square feet on the property. The property also houses a cemetery which will remain intact.

Diode Ventures’ project manager, John Handley, said the company is always on the lookout for sites and its next development project, which is where the new plan springs from. Upon full build-out, the campus will have around 220MW of critical IT load and a full-site capacity of up to 270MW. The City Plan Commission will sit to discuss Diode Ventures’ rezoning request on June 7.
