Tract: Colonial Heights, VA

Lot Size: 740 acres

After receiving a unanimous recommendation for denial from the Chesterfield County Planning Commission, Tract has withdrawn its zoning application for a proposed data center park on a 744-acre site. The commission cited insufficient road infrastructure and a likely increase in traffic as key reasons for its decision.

The developer had sought to rezone the property, located near Colonial Heights just outside of Richmond, to accommodate up to 11 data centers with a combined footprint of approximately two million square feet.
