Data center operator Pure is developing a new facility in Madrid, Spain. Phase I of the €400 million ($463m) project includes the development of a substation and a data center. The on-site substation is scheduled for completion by early 2027, followed by the construction of the data halls.

Pure first entered the Madrid market in July 2024, acquiring a 190,000 sq ft (17,650 sqm) site in the Meco area. The property was purchased from European real estate private equity manager ActivumSG for €11 million (approx. $11.9m).
