Global Stack has proposed developing an edge data center on underutilized land at the historic Cow Palace Arena in Daly City, California.
Seeking a 100-year land lease, the company plans to develop the site alongside the venue's active rodeo and event operations, pairing the computing facility with a multi-level parking garage and a helicopter landing pad. Construction would be handled by three dedicated Global Stack affiliates: MeshClusters LLC for the data center, DAA Parking LLC for the parking garage, and PanGalatica LLC for the landing network. While this project is part of an ambitious push to establish similar infrastructure across 70 California fairgrounds by 2030, it remains under review by Cow Palace leadership after facing public pushback and project cancellations at other locations like Calistoga.
