Following the formal withdrawal of its rezoning application, Zydeco Development Corporation has halted plans for its proposed data center in Hutto, Texas. Known as Project Hutto, the developer had intended to build a single 950,000 sq ft facility on a 40-acre site. The project, which was designed to support 70MW of capacity, faced recommendations for denial from city staff due to inconsistencies with the local comprehensive plan.
