QTS massive data center in Richmond sits on 110 acres with an additional 100 acres available for future development. There are 3 building on the campus with a total potential floor space of 550,000 square feet
Building 1: A 150,000 sqft building
Building 2: A 200,000 sqft building with 130,000 of datacenter space
In years since QTS acquired the former Qimonda semiconductor plant in the White Oak Technology Park, the company has been steadily outfitting the 1.5 million-square-foot complex as one of its “mega” data centers.
Data Center Notes:
- QTS acquired the former 1.3 million SF Qimonda semiconductor fabrication facility in April 2010. 
- Plans to build out over 500,000 Sqft of raised floor, although only approximately 183,000 SqFt is currently built out.
