Prime: Austin Campus

Short Code: AUS01-01
Year Planned: 2027
Lot Size: 206 acres

Prime Data Centers is developing a new data center campus in Caldwell County, located outside of Austin, Texas. Tied to a 206-acre site previously known as "Project Snow," the full campus master plan is designed to deliver massive capacity across eight buildings totaling 2 million square feet.

The initial phase of the development represents a $400 million investment and features two buildings, designated as AUS01 and AUS02. Each of these first two facilities will span 380,000 square feet (35,303 square meters), bringing the initial physical footprint to 760,000 square feet. Construction on these structures is scheduled to begin in June 2026, with an estimated completion date in September 2027.

After first surfacing in early 2024, Prime Data Centers LLC secured county financial incentives in March 2024. While initial agreements provisionally pegged Phase 1 at $1.3 billion and 144 MW across three buildings, recent state filings have finalized the immediate scope to a $400 million, two-building configuration.
