Korean Internet company Kakao plans to invest KRW 600 billion ($442.3 million) to construct a new AI-focused data center in Namyangju, Gyeonggi province. The facility will span 92,000 square meters (990,280 sq ft). Construction is slated to begin in 2026 and is expected to be completed by 2029.
