Kakao Corporation (Korean: 카카오) is a South Korean Internet conglomerate headquartered in Jeju City. It was formed through the merger of Daum Communications and the original Kakao Inc in 2010. The company was renamed Daum Kakao in 2014. In 2015 it was rebranded once more, reverting simply to Kakao.

Korean Internet company Kakao plans to invest KRW 600 billion ($442.3 million) to construct a new AI-focused data center in Namyangju, Gyeonggi province.

Kakao, the South Korean Internet company, has launched its first self-owned data center in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

The facility spans 41,919 square meters (451,212 square feet) across 12 stories. Kakao Corp rents 92 percent of the facility, while LG Group's LG CNS Co.
