Plans Emerge for $1.7bn Data Center in Lebanon County

Pennsylvania
A Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, golf course is slated to become a data center after being sold for $45.6 million. The Dauphin County General Authority (DCGA) sold the 250-acre property to Harrisburg I, LLC, an entity under the Texas firm Provident Realty.
The county noted that this was one of six data center proposals received for the site. The DCGA approved the sale, citing anticipated benefits to the local community and school district through tax revenue. However, the transaction isn't final: infrastructure and other approvals must still be met. If all conditions are satisfied, the golf course operations will cease at the end of 2027.
