$1.7bn Lebanon County Data Center Plan Withdrawn by Developer

Industrial real estate developer MRP Industrial is exploring the construction of a massive 288-acre data center campus in Perry County, Pennsylvania, pivoting away from its previous plans to develop a logistics hub at the site.
The proposed development would feature ten 138,000-square-foot data center buildings located in Duncannon, Pennsylvania. While Perry County sits just northwest of Harrisburg and is not traditionally known as a data center hub, the project reflects Pennsylvania's rapidly growing capacity in the digital infrastructure market. However, the development remains in its earliest stages; no formal approvals have been granted, and local officials are still evaluating zoning ordinances to determine if data centers will be permitted in the area.
