To address local concerns regarding environmental impact, the facility will utilize an advanced air-cooled design featuring a closed-loop system, significantly reducing water consumption. With main vertical construction slated to begin in 2027 and full commissioning expected by 2031, the development represents a multi-billion dollar investment that is projected to generate substantial annual tax revenue for the Village of Minooka.
