Bell Canada is redeveloping the former Merit Functional Foods plant at 400 Goldenrod Drive in Rosser, Manitoba, within the CentrePort Canada industrial area, into an AI-focused data center supporting its Bell AI Fabric initiative. The approximately 94,000-square-foot facility is being retrofitted with upgraded electrical and mechanical infrastructure and a closed-loop cooling system. Construction began in early 2026 following multiple development permit approvals, with the project expected to become operational in late 2026 or early 2027.
