In 2025, Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) gave the green light to a $727 million (23.7 billion baht) data center project. This facility, which will be operated by Stratus Technology, an affiliate of China's ZData Technologies, is slated for the CPGC Industrial Estate in Rayong, a southern coastal province located west of Bangkok, Thailand's capital.
