Freyr: Rayong

Year Planned: 2027

In January 2026, Freyr Technology received official Board of Investment (BOI) approval for a 6.32 billion THB (~$200 million) data hosting project, a key pillar in Thailand’s push to become a regional AI hub.

Developed in partnership with Gorilla Technology Group, the project focuses on high-performance computing (HPC) and "GPU-as-a-Service," deploying advanced NVIDIA infrastructure to support sovereign AI and industrial automation.

Strategically split between Rayong (leveraging the Eastern Economic Corridor’s connectivity) and Samut Prakan (providing low-latency access to Bangkok), the facilities are being integrated into high-tier industrial zones to meet strict "Green Data Center" energy standards.
