Sify’s Chennai 02 campus is strategically located close to business parks to serve the nearby IT hubs and is well-connected via railways, airways, and the road transport systems. The facility will feature three towers with capacity for over 13,000 racks. The campus has 4 diverse fiber paths and offers a dedicated on-premise 230 KV GIS substation for high availability with 10 levels of access control from entry to cage.

• Transformer/Generator Configuration: N+2, N+2C, N+N/3 .
• Downstream Power Configuration: N+N power distribution with overhead bus bars .
• Onsite Fuel Storage: 48 hours, agreement with 2 fuel supply companies and another fuel supply agency for supply of fuel within 4 hours

Network:

• MMR: Dual meet me room for telecom fiber links; N+N power with UPS and 5 minutes battery backup .
• Carrier Neutral: Multiple IXs, IP Transit POPs, Multiple Telecom MUXs.
• Four telecom entry paths to the MMR.
• MDF (Network Closet) in every floor, connected to MMR via 4 network risers
