1778 Rich Pike LLC is proposing a massive data center campus, known as the Gouldsboro Data Center, in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. The development would span 1,000 acres across Clifton and Covington townships, situated on both sides of Interstate 380 just north of Clifton Beach Road.
The company plans to build up to 35 data center buildings over the next decade. Each building could be as large as 379,500 square feet, potentially bringing the total campus size to over 9 million square feet. To power the facility, the project includes plans for an on-site gas power plant and at least one substation.
With an estimated investment of more than $14.25 billion, the project lists Quantm Group, LLC as a development partner. Judge Family Estates LLC is also noted as a major landowner involved in the venture.
