Swedish data center provider Bahnhof has officially scrapped its long-delayed Elementica project in Stockholm to focus on a new subterranean facility in Gothenburg. Originally planned as an ambitious 21MW, eight-story circular landmark, Elementica was set to feature high-density racks and solar integration.

However, citing the shift in global security and the prevalence of conflict in Europe, the company is pivoting toward the "Bahnhof Bunker"—a former World War II bomb shelter currently being repurposed for a 2026 launch.
