The National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) was established in August 1995 as an extension of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY).
For over 28 years, NICSI has provided comprehensive Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions to all levels of government. Its services range from hardware and software procurement to consulting, technical support, and end-to-end project management. The company's mission is to deliver state-of-the-art, cost-effective, and reliable technology solutions that promote efficiency and transparency.

The National Data Centre in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi is a Tier-II facility with a capacity of 62 racks. It is currently in the process of being upgraded to a Tier-III facility.
The National Data Centre, a Tier-III facility, is situated on the first floor of DMRC IT Park, Shastri Park, New Delhi, and accommodates 462 racks.
The National Data Centre in Hyderabad, is a Tier-III facility with a capacity of 154 racks.
The National Data Centre in Pune, is a Tier-III facility with a capacity of 171 racks.
The National Data Centre in Bhubaneswar, is a Tier-III facility with a capacity of 271 racks.
