ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) owns and operates the Noida facility. Neysa installs and runs the GPU hardware and its Velocis AI cloud platform inside it, and sells that capacity to enterprises and startups that want to run production AI workloads in India. The companies did not disclose the contract value, the contracted power capacity or the term of the agreement.
The first phase supports as many as 9,000 GPUs and is designed for high-density AI training and inference, STT GDC said. It is due to go live in the first quarter of 2027. The companies say the setup keeps workloads close to users and data, which supports predictable latency and data residency.
"India's AI ambitions will depend not only on access to compute, but on the digital infrastructure required to support increasingly complex and compute-intensive workloads at scale," said Bimal Khandelwal, Chief Executive Officer for India at STT GDC.
Neysa's product line includes Velocis, a managed AI cloud platform that combines GPU compute, orchestration, inference, observability and cost management, and Tytan, dedicated bare-metal AI infrastructure for customers that need committed capacity. The company was founded in 2023 and is backed by Blackstone, which led more than $1 billion in funding toward a planned deployment of more than 20,000 GPUs in India.
"Our customers need more than access to GPUs. They need capacity they can plan around, reliable operations and room to scale as their workloads evolve," said Sharad Sanghi, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Neysa.
Developing Telecoms and ETTelecom reported the same details, including the 9,000-GPU first phase and the first-quarter 2027 start.
STT GDC India says it manages more than 613MW of critical IT load across 34 facilities, including those under development, in 10 cities. Baxtel lists STT Noida 2 with 17.5 MW of operational capacity and a 2024 build date. Baxtel tracks 39 data center sites in the New Delhi / Noida market, with 396 MW of capacity and nine facilities under construction; the largest is Google's Noida site at 45 MW.
