New Nordic data center firm Fossefall has acquired Fyresdal Datacenter from Norwegian holding company Norsk Data AS to establish its first AI factory in Norway.

Fossefall: Breivegen, Harpefoss
A data center is planned at the Breivegen business area in Sør-Fron municipality, central Norway, developed by a Norwegian firm that builds facilities powered by local renewable hydropower. After an earlier site was rejected, the municipality assembled a new site with several landowners and, in mid 2026, authorized negotiations to sell it to the developer. The project is advancing but not yet finalized.
