Vantage Data Centers is making its largest investment ever, with plans to spend over $25 billion to build a massive data center campus called "Frontier" in Shackelford County, Texas. This cutting-edge facility is designed to support advancements in AI and is expected to create over 5,000 jobs in construction and long-term operations.
The Frontier campus will be the largest in Vantage's global portfolio, spanning 1,200 acres. It will feature 10 data centers covering 3.7 million square feet, with the capacity to support ultra-high-density racks of 250kW+. The campus is located in Shackelford County, a central Texas county more than 100 miles west of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Construction is slated to start in late 2025 and is projected to be completed by 2029.
