Panattoni Development, a California-based real estate company, has secured a building permit for a data center project in Barcelona, Spain. The development will consist of a two-building campus.
Projected to be the largest data center in Catalonia, the facility will cover up to 50,169 square meters (540,000 square feet). The initial phase, set for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, will encompass 21,292 square meters (229,200 square feet). The estimated investment for this first phase is approximately €300 million ($310.95 million).
