Panattoni has taken over a Meta Platforms-backed plan to build a 430-acre data center in southern Wisconsin, spanning the towns of Beloit and Turtle. Panattoni has reportedly informed officials in the Town of Beloit that it is taking over the Meta Platforms-backed data center project in southern Wisconsin. The developer has also set up two websites for the project, though both were inaccessible at the time of reporting. The site is owned by Rock Road Companies Inc, based in Janesville, Wisconsin, with pre-development talks ongoing since June 2025. Panattoni, founded in 1986, has built roughly 625 million sq ft of industrial and logistics space across the U.S.
