Quantum computing firm Qilimanjaro last week announced the inauguration of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech's quantum data center in the city's innovation district. The facility has the capacity to host up to ten quantum computers, available in both analog and digital modes, and connected with classical HPC resources to maximize flexibility and performance.

Dr. Marta P. Estarellas, CEO of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, said: “This center is much more than a technological facility; it is an open ecosystem where industry, research, and public institutions can prepare for the future. Quantum computing is not a distant promise, it is already transforming the way we understand innovation.”

José María García Orois, business development officer at SETT, Spanish Society for Technological Transformation, added: “SETT has not only invested in Qilimanjaro, but also remains firmly committed to supporting the company through its next stages of growth, which already positions it as one of Europe’s leading references in quantum technologies.”
