Finnish data center development and operation specialist Hyperco Oy is currently building a major data center in Koria, Kouvola, in partnership with the main contractor YIT. The project, situated on a 24-hectare industrial plot purchased in 2024, features a new data center building measuring approximately 28,000 sqm and includes integrated office spaces, technical yards, and extensive site works. Designed to serve high-capacity international clients, the facility has confirmed TikTok (owned by ByteDance) as its primary tenant.

While Hyperco secured the necessary building permits in 2024 and initially targeted a late 2026 completion, the construction phase led by YIT officially broke ground at the end of October 2025. The project is now scheduled for final completion in May 2027.
