Data center developer DayOne is planning a third campus in Finland. The company this week announced “early-stage plans” for a data center project in Klaukkala, Nurmijärvi.
The Municipality of Nurmijärvi has initiated its handling of a preliminary sale of the data center site with DayOne. The company has also signed an agreement with energy firm Fortum for a grid connection.
Headquartered in Singapore, DayOne’s portfolio currently comprises more than 500MW of data center capacity in service and under construction, and more than 500MW held for future development across sites in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia (Johor), Indonesia (Batam), and Japan (Tokyo).
