Timeline:

  • 2010: Construction started
  • Launched in September 2010, the 155,000-square-foot first phase of the Lockport facility includes an administrative building and multiple data center halls.

  • In 2015, Yahoo expanded the site by an additional 7.2 MW. The expansion cost a total of $168 million.
  • In June 2017, Verizon acquired Yahoo and rebranded the company as Oath.
  • In August 2018, Oath announced a $32 million expansion.
