H5 Data Centers Completes The Acquisition of Seven Data Centers From vXchnge

H5 Data Centers has announced that it has completed the acquisition of seven data center facilities from vXchnge across the United States. With this development, vXchnge has just one data center. With this agreement, H5 data centers has added over 250,000 square feet (23,200 square meters) of space to its portfolio. Neither H5 nor vXchnge revealed the terms of the transaction. The CEO and founder of H5 Data Centers, Josh Simms, said the company had seen an increased demand for edge data center services. He added that the acquisition of vXchnge gives the company a window to expand its portfolio into 20 data center markets while also strengthening relationships with customers.

The data centers acquired are located in Nashville, Tennessee; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Secaucus, New Jersey; St. Paul, Minnesota; St. Louis, Missouri; and Portland, Oregon. vXchnge’s Nashville Tennessee data center has 22,000 square feet of space. The facilities in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also have 72,000 square feet and 20,000 square feet of space, respectively. In addition, the data center in Secaucus, New Jersey, has 46,000 square feet of space while the one in St. Paul, Minnesota, has 42,000 square feet of space. The remaining two data centers are the St. Louis, Missouri and Portland, Oregon facilities with 36,000 square feet and 42,000 square feet of space, respectively.

H5 Data Centers has 27 sites in 23 regions.
